Sources and catalogue records
A product page may combine manufacturer, licensed catalogue, supplier and Exsel information. Localised product descriptions may be machine translated. Exsel should distinguish verified manufacturer facts from inferred or translated copy, show identifiers where available and correct reported errors. The theme's translated menus and policies are separate from product data.
Identifiers and pack sizes
A buyer should check GTIN, manufacturer part number, model revision, size, colour, voltage, region and unit count in the written quote. A photograph may show accessories or a multipack that is not included. Any material difference discovered before order acceptance should be clarified in writing.
Stock, condition and provenance
Exsel should state whether goods are new, refurbished, open-box or another condition and disclose material restrictions. Before promising an authenticity or chain-of-supply guarantee, Exsel should verify supplier records and what evidence can be disclosed. The final policy should describe an escalation path for suspected counterfeit or diverted goods.
Safety and recalls
Product safety, labelling, battery, electrical, radio, health and environmental duties vary by item and destination. A buyer should tell Exsel the intended market. Exsel should not offer a restricted item where required evidence is missing, and should maintain a way to communicate verified recalls or safety notices to affected business customers.
Marketplace and brand permissions
An invoice can evidence a purchase but does not guarantee that Amazon, another marketplace or a brand will authorise a listing. Brand gating, warranties, image licences and territorial resale rights may be separate. Buyers should check these before relying on a product for a third-party listing.
Translation and corrections
Machine translation can misstate dimensions, compatibility or warnings. A buyer who spots a discrepancy should send the product URL and original identifier. Exsel should confirm critical specifications from an authoritative source before accepting a disputed order and retain a correction record.
Documentation requests
Requests for invoices, certificates, declarations or provenance records should be made before purchase if essential. Exsel should say what it can provide, whether redaction is needed, and whether a manufacturer or supplier must approve release. No document is promised solely because a similar marketplace offers it.
